Speeches
If you would like to give a speech during the wedding reception, please inform the toastmasters as soon as possible. Speakers will be placed in a queue.
The toastmasters will let you know in advance when you may clink your glass to gather everyone's attention.

Please give your speech in the language you are most comfortable with.
To ensure that all guests can follow along, please either:
display a translation or a summary of the main points (you are welcome to include photos or other visuals), or
provide the toastmasters with your speech or a summary of the main points no later than July 15, so we can prepare a translation.
To help keep the schedule for the day, speeches should preferably not exceed 5 minutes.
The toastmasters are responsible for coordinating the order and timing of all speeches. We therefore kindly ask that any instructions from the toastmasters be followed.
If you have any questions regarding speeches or the schedule, please feel free to contact the toastmasters.
If you are planning a surprise speech or other surprise element, please let the toastmasters know in advance. They will advise you if any adjustments are needed to fit the schedule.
